Uber Moto (Uber Motorbikes) is a service that was introduced as a faster and more affordable urban mobility option in Brazil, allowing users to move through traffic with greater efficiency. However, communicating this value is not straightforward since the service is associated with speed, urgency, and a more intense experience, which can create both appeal and hesitation.
This raises a key question:
How might we communicate Uber Moto’s speed and efficiency in a way that feels efficient, engaging, and trustworthy?
I approached this by reframing the experience as a distinct urban behavior, rather than just another ride option. The focus was on exploring how motion, rhythm, and visual intensity could reflect the dynamic nature of the service, while still maintaining clarity in communication. Apart from using copy to highlight how the service simplifies users’ routines, the visuals tell a story: a young man on his way to work arriving on time, confident, and coffee in hand, without the stress of commuting.
Generative AI supported this process by enabling rapid exploration of dynamic visual directions, helping test different levels of energy and movement. While it expanded the range of possibilities, many outputs felt visually noisy or unclear, reinforcing the need for strong direction and simplification.
